International Schools
For international schools, the ability to apply for a student visa for foreign students and a guardian pass (usually only for mothers) depends on the specific school’s policies.

- International Universities
Only private universities accept student visa applications for foreign students, and applicants must be at least 18 years old. Only students may apply for a visa; parents are not eligible for a guardian pass. All student visa applications are submitted and approved through EMGS (Education Malaysia Global Services).
